Horizon Veterinary Care is Hiring a Kennel Attendant Near Vancouver, WA
Horizon Veterinary Care is hiring! We are a small, independent veterinary clinic in Vancouver, WA.
This is a part-time, entry-level position that is primarily a janitorial/cleaning position. Anticipated hours will be in the afternoon/early evening, 15-20 hours/week. Duties include:
- sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- laundry
- cleaning kennels
- basic animal care: providing food and water, litterboxes, and potty breaks
- with training, you will also be asked to sterilize surgical instruments and prepare sterile surgical intruments packs
The ideal candidate will be dependable, have a positive attitidude, and show pride in their work. A clean veterinary clinic is very important to maintaining patient health! It will also be important to have a personality that meshes with our current core of 5 employees. Our management goal is to create a supportive working environment for our staff that values wellness and respects individual's time and efforts. Rather than having a large number of staff with regular turnover, we aim to craft a small, highly effective, long-term team.
